Love Refuge

A young woman in need of shelter meets a refugee with nothing to offer but love.

After the death of her estranged mother, Kayla sets out to find a family beach shack and her distant cousin Viv – both of which she’s only heard stories of. Finding the shack nestled in a spectacular cove in a National Park, she joins a community of young people squatting in the off-season. One of these is Omid, a refugee avoiding deportation. Growing up with no-one behind her Kayla is hesitant to trust, but she falls for Omid, unaware he has a wife in Iran.
